Thomas M. "Tom" Sohn age 68 of Bloomington, IL passed away at 9:15 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his residence. His funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Rev. Jim Warren will be officiating. Burial will be at Lexington Township Cemetery, Lexington, IL. Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Tom was born February 17, 1950 in Bloomington, IL the son of Ralph W. and Virginia Winklepleck Sohn. He married Pauline Schweitzer on July 21, 1974 in Normal, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his 2 brother in-laws, Eric (Tammie) Schweitzer, Naperville, IL, David (Katha) Schweitzer, Estes Park, CO, 3 nieces, Tara, Mandy and Hannah and 3 nephews, Luke, Joshua and Jacob. Tom is preceded in death by his parents. Tom graduated from Normal Community High School in 1968. He received his bachelor degree in accounting at Illinois State University in 1972. Tom was an avid ISU Redbird fan and Chicago Cubs Fan. He had been an insurance agent at RW Gibson Insurance Agency Bloomington IL for many years.
