Timothy Edward Bobell Obituary (1966 - 2019)

It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy Edward Bobell announces his passing on July 10, 2019, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at the age of 53. Timothy was born on March 12, 1966, in Springfield, Illinois, to Sharon and Edward Bobell. After graduating from Glenwood High School, he entered the Navy in 1984 and served as a corpsman. He married Kristina Heid, his beloved high school sweetheart, on June 15, 1985, in Springfield, Illinois. Timothy was blessed with a large and loving family and many cherished friends. He and Kristina raised their four children in Heyworth, Illinois, where they built a full and rich life together. Nothing made Tim more proud than his four children, and they were truly his pride and delight. Timothy greatly enjoyed his career with Anixter International in Bloomington, Illinois, and then with MSA in Murfreesboro. He also invested in his children and community by serving on the Heyworth School Board. He and Kristina attended Vale Church in Bloomington and, most recently, the Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro. Always quick to offer help, Timothy was a great encouragement to all. His influence has changed the shape and scope of many lives. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate and find rest in knowing he is now with Jesus, at peace with his Creator. Timothy is survived by his wife, Kristina; his daughter, Hannah (Capt. Aron) Kates, Southern Pines, North Carolina; his son, Elijah (Hollie) Bobell, Bloomington, Illinois; and his twin daughters, Lydia and Julia Bobell, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his sister, Kim (Mark) Homer, Cocoa Beach, Florida; and his father, Ed (Deb) Bobell, Vero Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Tomazic. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at New Horizon Christian Church in Heyworth, Illinois. A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2019, at New Horizon Christian Church in Heyworth. A military burial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Butler in Springfield, Illinois. All are welcome to attend these services and celebrate Timothy's life. Memorial donations in memory of Tim can be made to Operation Heal Our Patriots at samaritanspurse.org.
