Charles was born August 28, 1956 in Bloomington, IL the son of Charles and Irma (Walden) Lawson. Survivors include his sons, Charles Lawson, Jr. and Willie Lawson; along with his aunt, Lois Thayer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy Lawson.
