Carol R. McBride

Carol Rose McBride, 68, of El Paso, IL passed away at 2:08 a.m. Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the El Paso V.F.W. Post # 6026. Memorials may be made to the El Paso Emergency Squad or Charity of choice.
Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso is assisting the family with services.
Carol was born February 6, 1954, in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Timothy and Joan Wallenschlager Enright. She married Eric Randy McBride on July 4, 2003, in Las Vegas, NV. He died November 14, 2021.
Surviving are two children Kelly (Ed) Faulk and Jacon Allen both of El Paso; two grandchildren Kayla (Jake) Dehm of Chenoa, and Ethan (Skyeler Woods) Faulk of El Paso; and one soon to be great granddaughter Adelyn; one sister Peggy (David) McBride of El Paso two brothers Tim (Karol) Enright of El Paso, and Mark (Bev) Enright of Gridley. And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Tommy and Joe, and one sister Patty.
Carol worked as a fork truck driver at Mitsubishi Motors. She was in the first EMT class in El Paso in 1977 and joined the rescue squad in 1978. She served as Captain in 1979 and held many other positions throughout her career until retiring from the ambulance in 1991. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, sewing, and making flowers for her granddaughter's wedding. She was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, and sister who loved spending time with family and friends.
