David L. Karnes

David L. Karnes, 80, of Normal, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Heritage Manor, Normal, Illinois.

David's graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10am at Friends Cemetery, Bentown, Illinois.

David was born on December 27, 1941 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Alvin and Winnie Karnes. He married Beverly Ann Scogin on May 19, 1962 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She preceded him in death on September 23, 2005.

He is survived by several nieces and nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Lucille Karnes.

He was a self employed truck driver known as "One Glove". He was a member of the Teamsters and was an avid car collector
