Donald M. Wick, 88, of Lexington, IL passed away at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL\r\n\r\nCremation rites were accorded and a private family inurnment was held at Lexington Cemetery with Rev. Garry Gromley officiating. Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home, Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the First United Methodist Church of Lexington's Building Fund.\r\n\r\nDonald was born July 31, 1931 in Lexington, IL the son of George and Reba West Wick. He married Sharon K. Rice on December 24, 1986 in Lexington. She survives along with a sister-in-law Alice Wick of Lexington; two nieces Cindy (Randy) Mead of Petersburg and Lori (David) Castleberry of Farmersville one nephew David (Judi) Wick of Tualatin, OR five great nieces and nephews Matt, Patrick, and Rebecca Mead and Ryan and Jared Wick; and three great-great nieces and nephews Chloeigh and Callen Mead and Lucas Wick, and many cousins including Donna Neldner of Lexington.\r\n\r\nDonald was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lexington. He went to Illinois Wesleyan University and had a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami. He worked as a cpa in Chicago for many years. He retired as the city clerk for the city of Lexington.
