Dorothy E. "Dottie" Freeman 101 of Fairbury, Il. formerly of Clinton, Il. passed away 2:40 A.M. August 1, 2019 at Fairview Haven, Fairbury, Il. Services will be 11 AM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at the First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, IL with Pastor Tim Hubert officiating. Graveside services will be 3 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, Il. Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be directed to Fairview Haven, Fairbury, IL Dottie was born April 13, 1918 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Edward M. and Carrie M. (Weaver) Stone. She married Gerald A. Freeman August 11, 1935 in Clinton, Il. He passed away September 23, 2002. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Winterland, Fairbury, IL; 10 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kay Freeman, Rockford, IL; and son-in-law, Garry Hayes, California. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard, daughter, Barbara Hayes, and son-in-law, Lowell Winderland. Dottie had a strong Christian faith. She loved spending time with her friends and especially her family.
