Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Douglas Patterson Memorial Fund. Dougie was born November 22, 1971 in Decatur, IL the son of Lester and Betty C. (Muex) Patterson, Sr. He married Amy N. Sunderland October 22, 2011 in Clinton, IL. Survivors include his wife, Amy N. Patterson, Clinton, IL, son, Malik Washington-Conlee, Decatur, IL; fur babies, Bentley, Sugar Plum, and Kingston, siblings, Shirley (Buddy) Muex-Graves, Decatur, IL; Lester (Bobbi) Patterson, Decatur, IL; Gary Muex, Decatur, IL; Raymond Patterson, Georgia; Fred Patterson, Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers. Dougie loved the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs, and Snoopy.
