Jeremiah Michael Dietz, 34, of Pontiac, IL passed away at 2:04 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac. . Jeremiah was born on January 9, 1984 in Barstow, California a son of Michael Wayne and Tatsumi (Kamiya) Dietz. They both survive in Pontiac. Also surviving are his two sons: Christian Dietz of Fairbury, IL and Adrian Dietz of Texas; his siblings: Lucas Dietz and Ashley (Wade) Cromer both of Dyersburg, TN; his nieces: Felicia, Destiny, Taylor, and Riley; and his paternal grandma: Jean Dietz of Pontiac, IL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandpa: Wayne Dietz. Jeremiah graduated from Pontiac Township High School in the Class of 2002. He worked for RR Donnelley (Presently LSC Communications). His family chose to give the gift of life to many through Gift of Hope so that others may live.
