Mabel B. Volz

Mabel B. Volz, 102, of El Paso, IL passed away at 8:18 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Heritage Health, El Paso, IL.
Cremation rites were accorded, and a memorial mass will be 11a.m. Saturday January 18, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, El Paso with Fr. Robert Rayson officiating and private family inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery, El Paso. Memorials may be made to the Sterile Feral Foundation, PO Box 3413, Bloomington, IL 61702-3413. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso is assisting the family with services.
Mabel was born August 13, 1917 in Carlock, IL the daughter of William and Adina Waugler Wosnak. She married Robert C. Volz on December 26, 1945 in El Paso. He died February 4, 1994.
Surviving is one daughter Kathleen Toberman of Carlock and one grandson Kristopher Toberman of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Merle Wosnak.
Mabel was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, El Paso, IL. She worked as a bookkeeper for Louis Haas CPA in Bloomington and then at DuPont in El Paso retiring in 1982. Mabel was a loving, generous person and is greatly missed.
